Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had a spacious and clean room, although the cigarette smoke smell was noticeable throughout. The staff in our area seemed surprised by my comments but were overall nice and friendly. The location was convenient, with lots of visiting snowbirds in the area, near other casinos. The dining experience offered a variety of food options, even though some were smoked meats. The facilities were decent, with some discounts available for the restaurant in the casino.
The hotel provided basic yet comfy rooms with a nice shower but lacked hot water. The service was very friendly throughout the stay. The location was convenient, although a bit crowded due to visiting snowbirds. The dining experience was okay, with discount coupons for the casino restaurant. The facilities met expectations.
Upon arrival, the hotel emanated a strong smell of cigarette smoke, and this unpleasant experience persisted throughout my stay, making the rooms feel stuffy or cold. The rooms themselves seemed neglected and dirty, not a pleasant sight. On the bright side, the staff were all very pleasant and attentive, although they appeared taken aback by my observations. The location of the hotel is unfortunately marred by excessive smoke both inside the hotel and in the casino area. Dining options were severely limited, now only providing discount coupons for the casino restaurant, a far cry from the variety available before. Despite these challenges, the hotel did offer a large variety of food options earlier, including made-to-order omelets. The facilities overall left much to be desired, with the disappearance of certain amenities like the snack shop and Sports Bar. Homemade biscuits were a rare positive highlight among the dining choices.
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were filled with cigarette smoke from the lobby to the resort, which was a major disappointment. On the bright side, the room rates were quite affordable, saving us around $80 compared to other options in town. However, our stay for the second night was somewhat inconvenient as the town was fully booked.
This hotel was a mixed bag for me. On one hand, the rooms were basic but had comfy beds, and the staff were very friendly. However, the room temperature was a bit inconsistent, and the dining experience left a lot to be desired. The location was convenient for accessing the continental breakfast area, and there were some issues with the unusual number of visiting snowbirds affecting service times. Overall, it was an okay stay with some highs and lows.
